1. Freaky, isn't it?
What's growing wild around your house if I might ask? - No worries, I'm Swiss.

3. Growing wild
we've got morning glories, fly agaric, and datura, and under cultivation we've got Lion's Tail, San Pedro Cactus, ginger, and galangal.

And reading the trip reports they all sound totally bogus. :P

4. Datura's pretty bad.
Since two years some people learned that datura is a psychoactive plant (which is true), so we had a few teens here boiling the flowers and leaves and drinking it as a tea. After half an hour, no effect. Another load was boiled and drunk. No effect. Then more was boiled, etc. until it reached deadly poisonous levels.

5. A friend of a friend
found some growing wild on Mt Shasta and he ate a whole seedpod and the last thing he remembered is thinking he was going to die his heart was racing so fast...

A week later he came to MILES from where he had started out with no memory of the proceeding week.

That sounds lame to me.

It's a pretty popular plant around here,
even we have several ones. I would never mess with it ...
