front of the house 8:45 in the morning, my daughter's in the next room, heard the noise and yelled and the prick took off running. Police have been here and gone, insurance guy on the way. Leaded glass guy will call.....arrrrrgh!

1. Did your daughter see who it was?
I mean, it's probably someone you know. Know any stupid pricks?

2. not really
she kinda saw a profile, probably teen size wearing a hoodie that pretty much obscured all. No one in the household knows of any grudge things. My oldest and youngest are in Germany at the moment. Just an opportune a**hole

10. nice thought, highly unlikely
it's just a shame. Mine is the oldest house in the neighborhood, built in 1929 as a model home, then the stock market crashed and nothing else was built 'til after WWII.

5. thanks Rev
the insurance guy was here and cut a check on the spot. Police said probably gang initiation since it was broaddaylight on the front of the house. If they really wanted to break in the back of the house is much more secluded. So me and the alderman will be discussing gang stuff. Blood pressure slightly elevated......

6. So it's a random act?
In an odd sort of way, I hope that gives you comfort. At least you know that there ISN'T someone out there to get you, JonesDad or JonesKid.

Now you just have to live with the petty annoyance, but at least you're safe.

7. probably just random stupid
I have teens but they're not into the kind of relationships that run on drama. Our poor kitty was in the chair in the sunroom when the brick came through. He's totally freaked. I guess we're lucky he wasn't hit! Leaded glass is gonna cost. and a really nice divot in the oak floor. I guess I should go back to work now. JonesDad is home now so he can wait for the glass guy to call and I hope come over. Glass EVERYWHERE!

8. Poor kitty.
Ya might want to dig out some catnip tonight. But I'll bet he/she will avoid the sunroom for a while.

And sorry about your sunroom. That's awful.
