8. The other way around

When bands are inducted, ALL of its members, past and present, are inducted. It was classless of Harry and the others to not let them play, since the honor is EQUAL among all of a band's members. To not put aside their doubtlessly petty grievances was a blot on Harry more than the shunned ones.

It is clear from the recording of the incident that he was doing it to show everyone what a no-class, no-talent bitch Debbie Harry is. It was a deliberate exposure.

They should've waited another year to let 'em all sort it out.

Then again, it's the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame.

When some members accept the invitation to speak and play, they should have the good manners to let the other members have equal access. Courtesy and integrity are bigger than the Hall, the bands, or what the Hall or bands supposedly represent.
