Poll question: Do you ever feel lonely for no reason?
It doesn't happen often, but it has hit me on occasion. Even though I have a wonderful wife and kids, and a small, but good circle of friends, but once in a blue moon, I get this sad feeling of loneliness, and that nobody quite "gets" me.

It's fleeting, and I know it's silly - I know I'm blessed to have such a wonderful family. Maybe it's the fear of aging and ending up lonely through that process. Not sure, but wondering if this is common or just me?

1. I'm 'other': I'm rather lonely all the time with good reason, so
I don't know about fleeting, unreasonable loneliness. Situation is changing though, so in a few weeks I'll tell you.

2. I hope it's a change for the better!
Like the Tracy Chapman song says...

"Why, when there are so many of us, are there people still alone?"
