Well, not anything else, but it certainly infuriates me.

I need a ponytail holder, and I can't find one ANYWHERE. :grr:

What's your minor irritation for the day?

3. It's 82 here. Too hot.
All of the weather people are predicting a very hostile hurricane season, because we only reached freezing twice.

I need my ponytail holder, because my hair is touching the back of my neck, and I can't stand that in hot weather!

:D

2. I'm with ya on that
I wear my hair in two "ponytails" (I call them pigtails, but realise some folks require pigtails to be braids) You have to buy a whole frigging pile of them to get two of the only color you want and then when those wear out you go back to the package and suddenly NONE of them match anymore. arrrggg

Also trying for the past three YEARS to find a pin/dog/wig brush without little freaking balls or nailheads on the ends of the pins!!!!!!!!!! WHY don't they make those anymore????

 :nuke:

5. I know!
I just buy all black ponytail holders and that way when i put my hair up in two, they always match. But today, I'd be doubly fucked if I wanted to wear pigtails because I have no ponytail holders.

And about the brushes, I know! You can't find a brush without those little balls on the tips anywhere! GRRRR.

4. Doing laundry
I hate to do laundry. My clothes are still in the dryer waiting to be folded. They've been dry for a couple of hours.

Are you on contract with your cell company? Is it going to cost you a ton to get a new one?

(I'm with you. It'd be nice not to have this tether all of the time.)

If you're going to tone it down, you have to tone it down all the way.
It's the law.
;-)

On edit: Try a strip of aluminum foil.
It'll help keep the rays out too.

15. LOL.
Sorry. :D

I need to go to the grocery store...should I just wrap some foil around my ponytail and go? That would garner me some odd stares. The last time I wore my pajama pants (plush pants with snowmen all over them) and my slippers (Eeyore slippers), everyone there looked at me as if I were crazy. I only went in for a potato, though, and I wasn't going to change my clothes to run in and out.

:hi:

21. I remember the potato run. Ok, try this:
get some scissors and cut 3 6" strips of foil about a half inch wide.
Twist each strip into "yarn".
Using the "pigtail plait", braid the 3 yarns into a "rope".
Wind and tuck that around the base of your ponytail.

I am, indeed, resourceful.
:-)

10. Have you interrogated your cats?
That's where all of mine go.
I buy them in packs of 50, and they just seem to disappear in 2 weeks...
until I lift the sofa, or search the kitty-beds.

They just LOVE them, because they know they aren't supposed to play with them.

23. You can't really blame them.
If I was a cat, and you brought
that creepy-ass frog into MY HOUSE,
I would be looking for to give you some
passive-aggressive PAYBACK too!

Personally, I would be pooping in your shoes,
but that's just how _I_ roll!

Your cats know you better than I,
and so I respectfully defer to their judgement!

Well things could be worse, I could have had my regular shift and not the early shift and then I would be stuck at work feeling icky. Although if I hand't had to get up at 5:30 this morning and I wouldn't have drank so much coffee and then my tummy wouldn't be doing flip flops.

18. Having 2 dogs that think they're pigs ...
... it's been rainy/sloppy for the last several days, and they cannot just go outside and do their business; they have to find at least one mud puddle to chase each other through.

I'm really getting tired of rounding them up and bathing them. Sigh. :(

34. Our irritation
Today we went to a local flea market to get some veggies for dinner. We're outside in the produce section (The Prophetess is clearly walking with a cane), we go inside through a set of double doors, and this ignorant sixtoed webfooted Republican redneck starts griping that we went through the open half of the double doors rather than through the door that is closed. He actually said "There's two doors here you know" to a limping woman with a cane.

I did let it slide, because that's what you're supposed to do. I really wanted to go back outside and put his selfish bastard ass in a back brace for the rest of his life though.
