My cat is snoring....
He's really out. He's laying on the sofa on his special pillow next to me as I type, snoring away... He's the first cat I've ever had that snored.

Fuzzy (on the left) and his older "sister", Angel

4. Different sound.
I know his purr very well. He wakes me up with it most mornings. (He also smacks me in the face with a paw, but that's another story.)

This is quite literally a snore - sounds like a cross between a whistle and a sigh.

5. awww!
i have two similar cats myself, and the black one, ninjacat, aka fatty boy, snores like a chimney. his big sister, mia aka baby kitten, is quiet as a mouse, she's a very sweet little girl.

7. Mine has started snoring in the last year or so.
It's not really loud, but it's enough to be annoying at times.
