My wife was in her first union protest today!
Employees of USM (University of Southern Maine) have been working without a contract for three years (or two, but I think three) and staged a protest today.

The amazing thing about unions is how supportive they are of each other. Each of the other branches of the State of Maine university system sent down representatives to the protest. Also the local teamsters sent representatives to the protest in solidarity! :thumbsup:
