Republicans: Anything But the Truth - Dubai and Haliburton

I knew it - this was so fucking blatantly bullshit.

Presidentialary Fuckstick McAWOL and Cheney really want to give Haliburton a no bid contract to manage our ports; but, they're afraid of fallout due to so many other no-bids out there and the fact that they haven't been able to keep them perfectly secret.

So, they say "What could be the absolute worst thing to do? Ah - let the Saudis have them! That will cause an upraor!"

Then, the uproar comes, Dubai decides not to take the ports due to pressure and probably a pretty good payoff from Haliburton and some kind of sinister backdoor deal ("We'll give you $1 billion a year NOT to protect our ports"), and now Haliburton will get it, no bidding needed, no questions asked, and America will go "Whew! Thank God it's an American company!"

And that will be the end of it, and Fuckstick goes a couple points on homeland security for giving port security to an American company.
