Project Runway..... (SPOILERS)
I wonder what Santino will say now that the "pattern maker" beat him out in the finale. (I mean, he has a history of saying some pretty mean things...)

1. Santino likes to talk smack. I liked his line last night and i'm sure
he'll land on his feet. I like some of Chloe's stuff last night but some of it was a little over the top for me, i loved her stuff during the competition. Poor Daniel, when the model was tripping on her train i was clinching for him.

2. Santino just pissed me off
I didn't even like the show much (Hell I never watch ANY reality shows) but Santino was SOOOOOOOO pompous, arrogant and affected, I'd tune in at the end just to see if he'd get piped.

I had a feeling Bravo would kep him around for to the end for just that reason--I may have had an intense dislike--but I did watch.

Who did win?

4. Chloe's couch collection shouldn't have won.
I'd take Santino's any day.

Still, I'm just happy Daniel didn't win. Say what you want about Santino, but at least he's honest. Daniel's a fake little arrogant bastard. I can't stand him.

10. Not that I have any talent for clothing design or even sewing

(so it won't really be an issue!) but if that is what the world of high fashion is really like I think it could stand to have the "prima-donna-hissy-fit-of-rock-star-proportsions" quotient beaten out of it.

I didn't see any evidence on the show of even person involved (judges included) being able to go an entire day without throwing some epic and inappropriate tantrum at some point.

Talk about "high maintenance."

5. So, uh, I thought all of the collections were boring.
Well done, but boring. Santino's was less boring, but still, boring. And I'm sorry Chloe, but puffy sleeves? Shiny, puffy sleeves? I don't think so. (Actually that puffy sleeves complaint goes for the whole fashion industry this spring. Have you guys taken a look at any magazines lately? Ick. It's like 1988 and 1977 had an unholy love child who's rebelling by paying homage to 1995. :puke: )

8. Per fashion critics, Kara had the best collection
She also showed a line as a "decoy." By all accounts, and per the photos I've seen, hers was far and away the best. Between the photos I've seen of that line, and the stuff on her web page, she is very, very good. I'm very surprised she never did anything like that on the show. Time, maybe?

11. Yeah, I just took a quick look and you're right--it makes no sense
why she wouldn't have at least tried to convey that style on the show. I read that her little blue & brown sash dress she had on when she got eliminated has become something of a must have item too. Good for her. (But boo to her contributing to boring clothes on the show.)

12. Yes, her kimono dress has a long waiting list, and my opinion
is that it might be a time factor, and that she also was doing what she THOUGHT the judges would like to see... not her cool, textured stuff. She's also a great sewer, and she really grew on me. I liked how she helped Chloe, and they never, ever became "catty" -- all the gay guys did instead!

13. i love daniel v -- and i wish he had won.
but chloe pulled off the difficult techinique.

that's the reason she won.

but i do think daniel has a great future -- he has american sportswear down to a t.

right up there with beene, blass, jacobs, karan.

i loved daniels clothes!

15. And, a job offer from Michael Kors is better than winning this, imo

16. that was brilliant, wasn't it?
i really think daniel v has a great future in fashion and it was stupndous to see michae kors give him that nod.

we'll never -- or i'll be very, very surprised -- see anything like that again.

14. I was surprised
I think Santino slit his own throat. All of his designs were so over the top during the competition that his final collection was boring in comparison. If he had shown that same style through out he probably would have won.
