I went for the first time today. It was awesome!

I fell, a lot. But it was ok, we had a really nice(and extremely patient, because I wouldn't want to deal with us. :o) instructor... since the class was just me and my two friends from work. It was one girls 4th time snowboarding(she's the one who talked us into it :D) and then the other girl was a newbie like me.

But yes, it was awesome! I can't wait to go again. :bounce:

4. I fell a fucking lot.

I had about four really nasty falls. Three times I landed really, really hard on my left hip and the fourth I twisted my knee, but it's all good! :7



I'd say my ass and knees feel about the same, pain wise. :P

instructor saw this, and made me stop with my toes for the rest of the run. x(


OH and THEN there was this part of the run where it split off, one side was steep the other side not so much.. so he made me go down the steep side(well he walked with me for a little bit) and he told me to go toe first THEN switch to heel. I did it, but still... :(

Good times.... sold my last board when I started college... haven't been on one since. I was getting bored of it though, I grew up on ski hills and it was getting boring. But I think I may try again this year.
