1. This ain't a joke!

No seriously! A number of Southern states have "ownership of any implement that is used to stimulate the genitals for sexual purposes" as a major felony. Major as in $200,000 fine and 2 to 5 hard labour. WTF? Short of cutting off my right hand, I'm screwed!

It's a little easier in Texas. It's illegal to sell sex toys. But you can own them..... up to a point. More than 5 and you are classed as a dealer (kinda like drug laws). I'm way into felony territory :)

What I want to know is why these old men are so interested in my genitals and what I do with them. Surely that's my business and not theirs?

Hardly unique, though. In the UK they made piercing legal only on the condition that neither the piercer nor the peircee became aroused by it. Sheesh! How can you even determine or prove something like that?

Because if you're using them then they can't! Women. (I don't understand it either. Kind of like gay men. Who cares if they're not doing it in public? Pansy Division has a song where they keep saying, "Your asshole is political." Just like your body parts. It shows they're trying to "keep you in line".)

Indeed they are so fucking stupid it beggars the imagination. And mean with it!

So, if we take this to it's logical conclusion.... I can't grow cucumbers in my garden!

(On a fairly serious note... there is a woman here in TX facing charges for selling in private parties (what we used to call fuckerware parties) some really minor stuff - massage oils, etc. There is a man in Tenn. facing some serious jail time for designing dildos. He didn't promote or advertise them. Word of mouth. People came to him.


Of course the ultimate logical absurdity was the Spanner case. It was an S/m scene (not to everyone's taste or understanding, sure.) but the guys getting the beatings (fairly tame by my standards) were CONVICTED as accomplices in their own sexual assault. Yeah, you're the victim.... but since you agreed to it and asked for it, you perpetrated your own sexual assault! Huh? How can one sexually assault one's self?



None of this makes sense to me....

theres a great scene from Sex and the City where the girls are checking out back massagers at a Sharper Image store. The running joke is that everyone knows what they are really used for....
