Man, this sucks
I don't poison my mind by watching movies or TV. DU is nothing but people screetching about the oscars last night. I would leave, but I have nowhere else to go.This really blows!

"poison my mind"? There are plenty of films and tv shows that educate and illuminate our world. I cannot stand when people make comments like this. Get off your high horse and recognize there are tons of intelligent and creative people working in these fields.

4. Intelligent people making mindrot because mindrot is easier to sell
to the masses. L.C.D. Least common denominator.

Look at TV past and present. Today's TV is slick and glossy but the substance within, if any. is a joke. Yesterday's TV looks cheap but the content is more interesting, when not more creative because they were the ones who thought of it first.

And plenty of people will not watch old material solely because it's in black'n'white!
