Question About Best Song Oscar
Did anyone else hear that the woman who did that "Pimp" song that won Best Song was singing the word "shit" when she was performing it? I was watching ABC HD, so I don't know if the word went out on the regular ABC channel. If it did go out on the regular channel, you can bet the conservatives will be in a tizzy today: "They said 'shit' on the Oscar telecast! They gave Best Song to a song about a pimp!" Well, you know what conservatives? Who cares? It's not going to destroy the country. Not like what you have done to it. You are taking away the basic rights from people that this country was founded on. That's *a lot* more offensive to me.

1. I didn't hear it...
but that's exactly what she sang. I think the Oscars are on a 7 second delay.

2. Someone said "ass" during the red carpet show.
I said, "Did he say 'ass'?" My 13-year-old explained that you can say "ass" on broadcast television, but not "assHOLE". So now I know.

5. Last line of the woman's stanza was about "tricks jumping ship." But
we couldn't hear the lyrics very well. Thought the song was much more powerful in the actual movie.

6. Nope. I'm pretty sure that didn't happen.
She even seemed to change "bitches" to "witches."
