3. Stewart
I thought Jon Stewart knew his job. He kept the show on track. He didn't try to be the biggest star of the show. He was amusing without being annoying. He made witty comments off script. It was like he was watching the Oscars with us. It was organized. Sometimes when watching the Oscars you get that "OhmyGodsomethingisnotgoingrighthurryhurryfixit" feeling, but not tonight and that seemed to be due to Jon's attitude.

4. I like the guy, I really do, but he bombed.
He wasn't in his element, and it showed.

5. I almost agree.
"Bombed" might be too strong a word, but I was very disappointed.

6. Yeah, that was a harsh assessment, but he didn't do that well.
It may be not fault of his own. He did appear very nervous, and that Scientology joke he made received a pretty hearty boo from some in the audience. I think the "Hollywood Elite" was a bit too nervous to laugh at his political humor as well.

7. Jon Stewart will not be invited back, ever
Especially not after his remark about Martin Scorcese and the Three-6 Mafia. He cut AMPAS too deep with that one.
