Thank you, Jon Stewart. Thank you for summarizing the eternal pile of bullshit the Academy Awards has become.

Stewart will never be invited back. Good thing, because this is beneath him.

3. The night "Ordinary People" beat "Raging Bull"....
...the Oscars died.....

Then they dug up the corpse and kicked it some more when "Dances With Wolves" topped "Goodfellas".

5. Goodfellas is one of the five best movies ever.
And it didn't even win it's year. Pathetic.

Although I would think that Dances With Wolves would deserve it nearly any other year.

6. Aye, both were travesties.
Really, how can these two classic films not get best picture or at the very least best director for Scorsese? What does he have to do, blow the members of the committee? Of course, that would explain how Hally Berrie got best actress a few years ago.

9. Scorcese had a nomination for best song?
I..didn't...know...

Seriously...

Why all this energy?

What song do you think should of won?

The other two seemed...well boring and forgettable.

Though the movies were quite good.

I think "Pimp" deserved to win.
