My allergy sucks! I can't eat watermelons!
As a kid I had allergies to tomato's, trout, feather pillows and watermelon. I have managed to grow out of all of the allergies except watermelon. It becomes difficult to breathe after eating just one slice of it.
The part that sucks is I LOVE watermelon! Last year I planted cantaloupes and musk Mellon's in my garden and they thrived. My area would be perfect for a watermelon patch. Life is so cruel sometimes..........

1. Of all the things to be allergic to!
Argh! Fate is cruel.

Your doctor may be able to refer you to a specialist that can help you build up an immunity. Watermelon is one of life's best pleasures (even if the @$#% thing takes up so much space in my fridge).

4. Shots would help but I don't like them that much!
I spent my early years getting shots once a month. I don't think I want to go back to that for watermelon though. I am looking at other varieties of Mellon's I could plant this year.

6. Mellons Have Lots of Molds & Yeast
that's why...they just fester there on the ground, getting all sweet tasting and moldy.
