5. usually i despise greatest hits albums
but every once in a while theres a band thats only songs that are any good are on the greatest hits album.

9. Kink Kronikles is pretty fucking awesome
Particularly if you don't have the albums, but even with the unexpanded versions there is a lot of awesome new stuff there. "Autumn Almanac" and "Days" are must-haves for any fan.

I hadn't known about expanded versions.

It's about time I replaced the double-vinyl I bought in 1980, since you can see the outer rims of the discs through the cardboard. And you can almost see daylight through "David Watts."

17. I wouldn't technically call that a "greatest hits" package.
It was, instead, a compilation of non-album singles. 1991's Operator's Manual was a greatest hits collection (and was a lesser record than SGS).
