I need good vibes for my dad...
As many of you know, he has cancer and at this point, it isn't looking good. The course of chemo didn't do very much. I am frightened, we are all frightened. This is a man who has survived so much, but I fear that he does not have very much time left.

He has a doctors appointment tomorrow...Please send your good vibes, positive and thoughts to him. I am hoping for some good news tomorrow, even though I am trying not to get my hopes up. This is so difficult. It is probably the hardest thing I have ever gone through.

13. Thanks Everyone
I can only reply to some of these individually, but it is because of time, not because of lack of gratitude. Tomorrow will be a difficult day I am sure, followed by many more.

Taking a valium now...eek

4. What type of cancer does he have?
My husband is battling stage III head and neck cancer right now at 39 years old. He has 12 more radiation treatments to go and hopefully no more chemo. I feel so bad for him; he is having a hard time lately. I am sorry to hear about your dad. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

14. Stage 4 Lymphoma
At first, they said he had about a 60% survival rate. Now who knows.

Good Luck to you and your husband too!! I hope uour husband does not have to have any more chemo either. That stuff is rough.

Thanks:hug:

12. I am so sorry...
I know what you are going through. My mother died two months ago tomorrow (damn, that is difficult to type) and I am still living with the consequences.

Listing the house to sell, finding a new place to live, moving.

Sorry if this is a downer, but I slept 2 1/2 hours beyond my get-up time to go to work this morning. Guess I needed it...and so will you.

15. I am so sorry to hear that.
I am hoping for a glimmer of hope, but preparing for the worst as best as I can. I don't think there is a way to do it though.

Take care of yourself:hug:

20. I'm a relative newbie here
I don't think I've ever responded to any of your posts before.
What you are going through is incredibly difficult. I've been there. I'm sending positive/healing vibes to your dad, your family and you. Also included are lots and lots of hugs.
Two pieces of advice, if it's not being rude of me. Make sure you tell your father you love him. Also, please try to take care of yourself, too, okay?

21. Sending him light and love and healing vibes, Sannum
whatever you do, please spend as much time with him as possible. It was the best thing I ever did when my mom had cancer. Hers was terminal from the start, however.

We shared things we never had before...became extremely close...it was an extraordinarily deep and intense time.
