I just got a PM from the mods about a DU name that I had almost

I logged on to see if it was even still active---Could not remember the last time I used it--

Checked my "inbox" and there were notes from Nostamj.

Micheal and I really miss Jeff---DU is not the same without him, Keph, Robin and others--and it never will be.

Every once in awhile I pull up old PM's from Keph. I was in the I.C.U. that week and was stunned when PassingFair told me. :(

2. This is horrible; I was downstairs cooking dinner with Michael

came upstairs for something, and clicked on DU. When I saw Keph's mom's post, I knew it was no joke.

The very worst part is that on one of those threads, Jeff (Nostamj) was the FIRST poster to talk about how horrible it was to lose him.

I really miss those guys---and never "met" either one of them in person.

3. One of my deepest regrets is that I got into a PM argument with Jeff

right before he died. I accused him of taking something too personally on the boards, and he defended himself by saying a good friend of mine was a freeper (she's a delegate, activist etc...) and we took it a little too far. I hope somewhere he knows how much I cared for him.

I never met Keph either, but he was a delightful person, always supportive. I really do think DU changes a little when we lose beloved posters...through death, disinterest or other reasons.

I bet he ENJOYED the argument! I think if he didn't care about you, he would have just put you on "ignore" and not bothered to argue with you!
