Ethics poll: If you found a nude picture...

If you found a naked picture of a complete stranger, with attached text that said something about "Did I do this OK? I hope you appreciate this, godsakes don't let anyone ever see this", and you find it in a very, very public place...

Would you do your best to contact the stranger and let them know their nude self was out there? Or would you shrug and move on? And would it matter if the person pictured was a woman or a man?

1. I would destroy it...and thus destroy the evil intentions of the person

who left it in such a public place.

Regardless of intentions - such pictures are not for the public sphere.

I wouldn't be inclined to contact anybody, but just to get rid of the damn thing.

If the person in the picture wasn't a complete stranger, I'd try to let that person know. Otherwise, I'd destroy the picture.

The distributor of the picture probably has copies, though. I assume if the intent was to embarass someone, they wouldn't leave the picture in only one place.
