My iPod Nano arrived today! Ask me anything!

Congratulations! Remember to come up for air occasionally, and don't worry about that yellow thing up in the sky. It's supposed to be there.

11. I have over 800 songs on it. Gaining on getting a 1,000 on iTunes so

to be safe I bought the 4Gig.

because the selection at iTunes isn't that great in my opinion. I won't watch a TV show on it or a movie. I bought it for music videos but can't find any I want to download.

15. Do you check your pockets before doing the laundry?

Make sure you do; the Nano doesn't go through the wash cycles very well. And apparently, it happens all too often. Washing a Nano voids the warranty.

We were told by the techs that if you do manage to drop it in water and can retrieve it quickly, let it dry for at least 24 hours before attempting to turn it back on.
(BTW, when we took it to the local Apple Store "Genius Bar" a couple weeks after the kidlet got it and promptly washed it within a week of purchase, we told the truth to the tech. Apparently, he had so many people lie to him about what happened to their Nano, he "pocketed the difference" and gave us a free exchange as if the damage was warrenty...it sometimes pays to tell the truth!)
