I have 3 teenagers in the house. We don't have leftovers anymore. In fact the large pizza we ordered to go (for "breakfast") while we had our fish dinners is already gone. Nothing can go bad around here!

2. Soup&rice

1 can minestrone soup
1 cup rice
1/2 to 1 can water

Boil, then simmer until water is absorbed.

I like smashe potatoes and butter with meatloaf for some reason (and ketchup on the loaf) otherwise brown gravy is good

13. No, the pizza was leftover.

I ground up a couple sirloin steaks for the meatloaf. I pour tomato sauce over it about 10-15 minutes before it's done cooking, but I also use ketchup.

6. I didn't get to have dinner. I have been working all day.

I was able to take 45 minutes for lunch at 2:30. And then, a few hours ago, I was able to have some potato chips.

I would almost be willing to kill for some fried catfish with butter and tartar sauce, some hush puppies, and some good British-style chips with vinegar.

10. oh I am sorry

I am a mom and hate to see people miss meals. Not sure what kind of fish they use - don't think its catfish. they have pretty good fries and terrible coleslaw - they put pineapple in it (bleh) so I order some lettuce and dressing instead. Its a small town pizza joint with all the kids sports team photos all over the waslls from the last 25 or 30 years, big heavy women waitresses, watery American beer and no pretentions whatsoever. Does the job, good for the community food is not bad - burgers are actually dang good.

Hope you can get something - can you call for delivery? (One fo the very few things I miss about city life - delivery!)

I don't care for sweet versions of slaw - and that is really nasty.

Agree pineapples are a treasure. Love them fresh.
