3. Oh, no, we're not tampering with the weather AT ALL.
This is the weirdest winter I can remember in a long time.

Cold one day, balmy the next, then cold the next day.

AND rain AND snow AND thunder. In February.

5. THUNDERSNOW!
I like it! It's so weird--it's like being in a movie or a song or something.

Ooh, there goes some lightning.

There goes the thunder.

THUNDERSNOW!

9. It's weird, I give you that.
I drove to work; J's a pedestrian today at school, and I really don't know who's better off.

11. It's no good either way. All that rain/sleet is stuck to the ground
and now there's snow on top of it.

My boss just called and told me to go home because it was so icky out. (I'm stunned!)

So I'm about to WALK home through this. I'll let you know how fun it is/was when I get there. I hope I don't fall down. (I will. I know I will.) :D

12. Good luck!
(I fall hard at least once a winter.)

They won't shut us down here, but they did tell us -- yesterday, at 5 pm, after I'd left -- we could dress casually today because of the nastiness. (I'm wearing cords and boots, because while I didn't get the message, I'm not crazy enough to wear a dress in a snowstorm if I don't have to.)

6. Mother Nature working some payback IMHO
It's the fracking middle of February in central NH and I'm wearing sweats and a light sweater outside telling my daffodils if they stick their heads any farther out of the ground they'll be sorry. Tomorrow we're due for the Full Monty - snow, icy rain and winds up to 50mph, then this weekend temps and wind chills below zero. I'm sure there'll be power outages.

O joy. :puke:

7. it's "endless colds" hell for kids and parents IMHO
yuck. It's supposed to be 60 here today.

My flowers are poking up, and then they are going to get pasted on Saturday when it's 26 again.

10. I've been sick for about a month...I finally felt healthy-ish last night.
Today, I'm stuffy/sneezy but not feeling ill otherwise.

I'll take it.

My kid missed a week of school since he couldn't stop coughing. It was awful.

8. Thunder, lightning, and brazillions of ice pellets attacking my
car on the drive to work this morning...I've never seen anything quite like that as far as a combination of things happening at the same time.
