Bathtub Drain Clogage. Do those Roto-rooter things work?

Is it worth buying one and trying? I think a toy is stuck in the drain but must be more than that since it doesn't drain at all. Thaought about asking land lord to fix but if I can fix myself...

if it's a toy, no, it won't work. Grab a plunger and have at it, just like a clogged toilet. Be relentless...no mercy.

they work very well on tough clogs

4. Have you tried a wire coathanger?

If it is a toy, something else such as hair could be clogged behind it causing it not to drain.

5. Do you have a septic tank?

Our septic tank got full once. I thought I had plugged up the toilet. Odds are you don't have one but I used a snake, drano, plunger.. I was freakin' out. So, I would ask before dropping a bunch of cash on other things.
