I co-hosted a radio show for a while (mostly noise, free jazz, etc.) and we'd play Heino on occassion to piss people off. It's awful stuff.

since I was the only one who had a phonograph, I volunteered. My reward was that I got to keep all the records. Including Rudi Knabl's Zither and a nice Heino album. Upon seeing the cover, everyone wanted it, so we made copies and Heino's sunglassed bearing head would crop up from time to time on posters that teachers had put up in the classroom.
