Name a SEXY scene in a movie that doesn't involve SEX
(But it could be a prelude to sex)

I like the scene in Bull Durham where Crash is painting Annie's toenails.

6. You stole mine!
I thought of that scene before I clicked the thread. :grr:

I love how the camera pans left from Annie's face, and you discover that what you thought was going on... isn't. And I love how she's so aroused by it.

Okay, so... in "The American President," when Shepherd and Sydney are in prelude, and she's so obviously in charge and the president of the United States is so boyishly rattled.

Perhaps I didn't properly explain the fundamentals of the slowdown plan.

(Sydney feels the bed) No, you explained it great.

Are you nervous?

No.

Good. My nervousness exists on... several levels. Number one, and this is in no particular order, I haven't done this in a pretty long time. Number two, uh, any expectations that you might have, given the fact that I'm... you know...

The most powerful man in the world?

Exactly, thank you. I think it's important you remember that's a political distinction that comes with the office.

18. The Big Easy
I once told a male friend that the "sex" scene in that movie was the sexiest thing I'd ever seen. He said, Oh, Kay! My girlfriend says the same damn thing, but there's not even sex in that movie.

I thought it was wildly sexy and the actress said, I'm not used to feeling this good . . .

>the actress said, I'm not used to feeling this good<

Ellen Barkin's character said, "I haven't had that much luck with sex," or something like that, and Dennis Quaid's character responds, "Cherie, your luck is about to change".

Toe-curlingly sexy. Run home and rip your SO's clothes off sexy.

19. 3 Julia Roberts Movies
Something to Talk About - the dance near the end when Dennis Quaid and Julia dance together
trying on clothes scenes from Pretty Woman and Sleeping with the Enemy (and I hate shopping) - I think the songs pick were part of the appeal (Pretty Woman and Brown Eyed Girl)

I also agree with another poster about the pottery scene in Ghost - again a lot to do with the song - Unchained Melody.

42. In Twin Peaks FWWM
There's a scene where Laura Palmer and Ronette Pulaski are sitting on a motel bed together. It is a brief scene, but sexy nonetheless.

Then there's a scene that takes place in a Canadian night club with Laura Palmer, Donna Hayward, Ronette Pulaski and several guys. There's a good deal of sexy dancing, kissing and such. The music lends much to the erotic nature of the scene.

Tramp, the scruffy mongrel, takes Lady, the well-heeled cocker spaniel, to his favorite Italian restaurant (or, rather, its back-door alley).
