6. Nope, she twitches her tail and then runs to her food bowl
It's funny- only the tip of her tail twitches. The rest of it just stands straight up.

7. Yes! Ivan, a gigantic tuxedo with a head the size
of a softball, will stroll into the house, start to walk sloooowwllly, stretch out a bit and then FLOP onto his left side. HIYA! I'M HERE!

He's the first cat I've ever known who does that. And this household has had many, many cats.

one sits in the front window and meows loudly, demanding dinner.

The other couldn't care less. "Oh, you home?"

16. Nah, they both greet me at the door though. Althea will flop down
when she wants her belly rubbed. Somehow she manages to do this in a padded and carpeted floor but still produce an audible thud as she flips from her feet to her back :P

Then if he doesn't get attention, he bites ankles.

24. Tucker does that!
Only if he doesn't get the attention he wants, he doesn't go for ankles, he goes for more meaty part of the leg, like your calf! An he waits till you're about 5 foot away and then does a running attack!

23. Papa does that.
He loves to flop at everyone's feet, whether or not they're carrying anything. Needless to say, he's been stepped on.

25. The term is "flump"...
...from "flabby" and "thump." It's a tuck-and-roll that kitties will perform if they're really in the mood for you to come pet them.

28. That's a trap in this house.
Fuzzy doesn't like having his belly rubbed, so if he flops and one is crazy enough to take the bait, he'll bunnykick the hell out of your hand.

It's become a game now - can we tickle the belly without needing a transfusion and a skin graft, or does Fuzzy win?

Sometimes she does it so hard that it knocks the wind out of her. She's silly.
