An update on the Janitor with an attitude
A whole bunch of parents complained about him and his behavior/attitude. The principal has asked him to stay away from us, and we got all of our demands...bathrooms open, more room in the hallway to come and go.

:woohoo:

3. Sounds like a very good solution!
You have dealt with him most successfully!

BTW, there's a PM that needs an answer, I think......Unless you just got to it.....

:hi:

6. I think we're forgetting the bigger issue here.
How was he with those tough-to-reach corners behind the toilet?

8. You mean he kept his job?
It's good that you got some satisfaction out of the principal though.

10. is this about me?
Sure, pick on the janitor. They are just scum of the floor. Slaves for the slobs. OTOH my boss seems to love messing with the customers.

11. No, not at all
Janitors do important work. I have issues with a certain janitor whom has shown a propensity to be extremely territorial and rude to people at my daughter's dance lessons.

14. that comes with the territory though
part of my job is building security and keeping "customers" out of areas they haven't paid to use (raquetball courts) or who think because they have rented a room, they have the run of the whole building (well gee this door isn't locked, why don't we wander around and use the bathrooms that have already been cleaned), and unsupervised kids are the worst (many is the time when I would have loved to mop up the floor with some surly rambunctious brat and I am normally pretty mellow). Then there are the events that run until ten and people do not want to go home and I am supposed to have the whole building cleaned by midnight, but I cannot even start until people get the zark out of there. I much preferred it when I was part-time or at the bar when I worked with nobody else around.

15. But this janitor accused us of messing with the artwork on the walls
Which was patently untrue. In fact it was some 7th graders that did mess with it (janitor caught them) but the janitor did not get their names, and instead chose to blame the dance parents.

12. Good deal, KW!
As long as he stays away and doesn't try to clash with those using the school after hours, things should go well!
