A friend of mine at work told me last year that he always liked the Rolling Stones better than the Beatles because they were grittier, more working class. I laughed and told him to do some research. The Beatles were working class thugs cleaned up by Brian Epstein and the Rolling Stones were suburban posers with some talent.
