"The Passion of The Christ" Is Coming To The Showtime Channel
The same network as "The L Word", "Queer As Folk", the porn "documentary" series, "Family Business", and the marijuana show, "Weeds". The fundies are in for a major culture shock.

2. I wonder what the fundies think of their
movie being shown on a network that shows Queer as Folk?

3. I won't watch it.
I'm a Buddhist Humanist and I don't see why I should watch something that is so violent---especially when it's not fact.

5. "The Passion of the Christ" is one of the worst movies on religion
ever. If you want some kind of meditation on the passion, you are much better reading the gospels, praying the rosary, and/or the stations of the cross. This movie is supposed to be based on that, but it is way over the top. No man, not Jesus, not anyone, could have bleed that much...

Makes Jesus' life a celebration of violence rather than love or even sacrifice (without context of the political and social reasons why he died)...

7. Ooooh, if it isn't the major snuff film
all the fundies spray their shorts over. :eyes:

Of course they'll probably whine about it being on amidst the "immoral" programming. Frankly I don't see anything moral about enjoying the viewing of several hours of torturing and barbarically killing one's 'savior' but then again that's just me.

8. You know I was going to see this in the theater, but
I didn't want to get thrown out for throwing the beer bottles that I had sneaked in with me. There might be another movie I would like to see in the future. :)
