Life is moving forward
I went to look at an old farmhouse way out in the country to rent. I, of course, fell in love with it. Since my house had to be sold in the divorce, I haven't really felt like I had a home. Finally after 4 1/2 years, I am going to rent a place that feels like home. I don't have a permanent full-time job yet, but Habitat wants me to stay indefinitely and the CFO position will be open there in May. The lease is month-month so I'm not stuck for a year like I was here. I'm full of hope and actually excited about something for a change. This will be good. Peace, quiet and room to breate.

The landlord is a friend of a friend and he farms the land all around the house. I get to mow around 1/4 acre of it and will do it gladly. So, maybe a central Ohio get-together at my house? Bonfire at the farm.

3. I also recommend a garden.
Nothing like a little dirt-work, planting and other cultivation to bring one closer to the earth, weather and sun.

4. Thank you
I have a dear friend who will be living about 2 miles at her own farmhouse and she has the most amazing gardens. Since I'm moving in April 1, I'll have time to help her divide perennials at her house and plant them at mine. I think a garden would be a wonderful thing. I need to go back out at the height of the sun and see where the trees will shade and how the house is situated.

I'm looking forward to using the sunporch as a sewing room. I quilt and haven't had room to set up my machine and quilt frame here, and I owe a relative a quilt...

6. My dear Peggy
I've spent so much time working that I haven't had a chance to do work I want to do. Garden, quilt and just sit under the trees with a drink and listen to the leaves rustle. Life is too short and I'm not going to miss out anymore!

12. I like it too!
Reminds me of my grandmother's old house with the knotty pine walls and hardwood floors. I also like the two sunporches. :)

11. Thank you Redstone
I decided to take a leap of faith here. I don't have a permanent job yet, but I'm told if you move forward and act fearless, things will happen. Time to stop being afraid of my shadow and afraid to make even the simplest decisions. I was paralyzed for so long.

13. Yes, yes, YES! You've figured it out, haven't you?
Sometimes, you have to put it all on one throw of the dice.

Keep following your instincts.

14. My daughter gives her approval
I took digital photos and sent them to her. She can't wait and that's good news. She hasn't been around much this quarter because it's so miserable trying to sleep here.

Thank you. I know how tax seasons go. You've got a long couple of months ahead of you.

I'm out of the campaign world for the time being. Too much to sort out personally.
