2. I'm surprised it's any of them - but I would think Van Cliburn.
Even the popularity of "10" I don't think would have driven sales of Bolero into the million mark.

3. Yeah, gotta be Cliburn. When he won the Tchaikovsky competition in 1959
or whenever that was, it was MAJOR news, even beyond the music world.

Gorgeous piece of music, and the definitive recording of this piece in my opinion.
