Shrimp stir-fry for dinner.... how 'bout you?
It's been a while since I made a stir-fry, and shrimp was a good call (my son suggested it).

I don't mind buying a pound of something a bit more expensive. I don't eat very much anymore, and you gotta figure if you're spending $6 for the meat for one meal (and probably some leftovers) then you're not doing too badly.

3. Some kinda roast beef-cabbage-onion one dish something
that miz t. is dreaming up as I type.
Basically working on using up some leftovers before they are completely dehydrated in the fridge.
Oh...and okra 'n tomatoes.
miz t.'s favorite.

6. I really HATE to waste food.
And we have WAAAYYYY too many unidentifiable lumps of antique who-knows-what in the fridge and freezer.
I've kinda been on a campaign lately.
miz t. is humoring me, grudgingly.
She wanted me to do a steak tonight.
I asked if we could maybe clean up some of the turkey and/or roast beef we had earlier.
The longer it sits there, the less tasty it is.

12. Mmmm, hope he uses sherry or a good marsala
Sherry will work in a pinch.

Now I'm thinking of Chicken Piccata. I even have some capers in the cabinet.
