It's been a while since I made a stir-fry, and shrimp was a good call (my son suggested it).
I don't mind buying a pound of something a bit more expensive. I don't eat very much anymore, and you gotta figure if you're spending $6 for the meat for one meal (and probably some leftovers) then you're not doing too badly.
3. Some kinda roast beef-cabbage-onion one dish something
that miz t. is dreaming up as I type. Basically working on using up some leftovers before they are completely dehydrated in the fridge. Oh...and okra 'n tomatoes. miz t.'s favorite.
And we have WAAAYYYY too many unidentifiable lumps of antique who-knows-what in the fridge and freezer. I've kinda been on a campaign lately. miz t. is humoring me, grudgingly. She wanted me to do a steak tonight. I asked if we could maybe clean up some of the turkey and/or roast beef we had earlier. The longer it sits there, the less tasty it is.
