Suduko is lame - Kakuro is where it is at!!! (Cross Sums)


It's real simple - the number to the top or to the left is the sum what all the blocks should equal. The top left row says 36 which means the eight blocks below that number must equal 36 when added together.

The catch - you can only use a number once in those group of blocks (although you can use a number more than once in a row provided that it's for three different blocks)

Here's tutorial that better explains how to play.

I've loved these puzzles and have been doing them probably since I was a kid. (I usually buy a few Dell Math Puzzle books each year and these were always my favorites.
