These may or may not be my last appearances with The Vibe Tribe, but that's not important right now. :) This coming weekend, I'll be in Maryland and New Jersey. It will be a very good time. The details:

Friday, February 3:

Ocean City, MD
10PMish-2 AM

This place RULES. They have a huge video screen above and behind the band, showing images from the cameramen roaming around the dance floor. There's a balloon drop (with confetti, of course) every night at midnight. And there's me. :) Apparently, another band is playing a 30-minute set before us, so we might not start right at 10.

Saturday, February 4:

This place rules as well, but in a different way. The bartenders here are great, and there's a patron there all the time who looks like the 3rd cousin of Harry Shearer when he's dressed up as Derek Smalls. (The 12-2:45 AM time slot is better, but what can you do?)

The Vibe Tribe, by the way, is a cover band, but not like you've ever seen. They play everything from Neil Diamond to Snoop Dogg to Rush (in the middle of "Play That Funky Music") with amazing skill and humor. I've never had as much fun at a gig as I have with these guys.

Wife and I go to Ocean City every summer....one of our favorite places along with Bull on the Beach (great crab cakes)

If you are gonna be there this summer we may see ya there.
