I didn't have the best start in January with * being crowned again and losing my best friend, my beloved 12 yr old yellow lab. But looking through my photobucket account, I realized that I had a pretty good year! Starting with:

Senator Spike Boxer - my new "best friend"


Then the spring garden (OK, this was year before, but you get the idea)



A trip to sunny Mexico!



Then a trip to an island off the Florida panhandle where I was nearly eaten by a shark (OK, possible dolphin...but still!)

My Jayhawk Football team beating the Nebraska Cornhuskers for the first time in almost 40 years!



A beautiful snow storm and fire that night




And kicked off the year with a trip to the Keys
