I went with the first one but loved 2 others and really liked the rest.

38. I didn't vote for it but Dragonfly is a great photo...

I love the composition with the flower in the background that demands that you look at it, drawing your eyes vertically. IMO it's a much better picture than the Red Dragon.

However, I voted for Masala. The colors are amazingly warm. It's so simple yet complex. And as I agreed with someone above, I would hang it on my wall. Great job. Excellent.:applause:

...and learn along with the rest of us. Believe me, we are amateurs! These monthly contests serve as practice with our cameras. The contests and conversations in the photo group really help build what photography skills you may already have.

Plus, we're the nicest group on DU :D ...and always happy to see new faces.
