Okay, I was getting out of my car in a questionable neighborhood

in Cleveland....

I heard all these sirens... Looked in my side mirror and saw the flashing lights...

Then I heard the bang which, looking back, must have been the tire on the car that was barreling down on us at about 50 miles an hours...

Did I mention it was on a side street... A 25 MPH zone...

So I shut the door and an instant later this car goes whooshing past me, right front tire disintegrating with every revolution....

Smell of burning rubber...

The car went by and was only about a foot over from me....

Next come the cops...

Bam... Hit the crest of Detroit Rd. and slammed into West 65th like it was the Ol' General Lee...

Then another, and another....

All tolled, six cop cars were in hot persuit....

Irony....

West 65th Street dead ends at an FOP Hall....

The guy ended up what must have been a brief criminal career by crashing into the FOP parking lot while trying to make a turn....

I looked for the CNN helicopters... (LOL)

Exciting stuff...

I pulled over and we sat there for a moment...
