I don't consider him to be the "President."

But, you're right, he doesn't go to funerals, although I hear that he is starting to phone families. Maybe KKKarl's been reading DU and hears the outrage.

As far as whooping it up, he's a piece of fluff. No substance. Of course they put him in a flight suit or jacket and trot him out to yuck it up with the boys. Nothing substantative. But Hillary in Afganistan? Very little press, but real fact-finding and conversations.
