Video of my daughter's cat fetching (that's right, cat, not dog!)
My daughter just sent me this video of her cat Indy fetching! I thought only dogs would fetch...I don't think I've ever seen a cat do it before...It's really cute!

1. There's a breed of cat
that will play fetch and come running when you call its name. I wanna say "Thai"-something.

2. Our Snickers fetches bottle caps, and mice.
She has down it since she was a little kitten.

She will play fetch for hours.

3. My cats fetch, too!
In fact, they'll bring me their toys when they want to play. It's amazing how friendly and playful cats can be. Dogs may be loyal, but cats are as much fun, IMHO.

Plus, you get to keep a box of crap in your house, too. What's not to love? :silly:

Yeah, but you don't have to hold its squishy warmth in your plastic-bag coated hand. Here's to boxes of crap! :toast: :D

4. That IS cute!! I had a cat once that "almost" fetched...
I would throw a piece of popcorn and she would run after it and fetch it... bring it NEARLY back to me then sit down and eat it just out of reach. She would never bring back anything else, though she would run after other things and play with them.

That's VERY cute video.

5. I've had fetching cats
It's pretty common actually. They are bringing you their kill. On America's Funniest Home Videos the most common cat vids people sent in were cats fetching and cats using the toilet. Cute video, I love fetching kitties!!!

7. I once knew a cat who "fetched" ballpoint pens.
When she wanted to play, she'd come & put the pen in your hand.

8. I guess I'm the only one who never saw a cat fetch before...haha
I love cats. We've always had them and now my married daughter has them too. We had three at one time. One of them used to tap on the back window for us to let her in. She would also tap for us to let her sister (who was not quite as smart) in!

11. One of ours will fetch
he has a particular ball that he'll bring when he wants to play fetch. The other cat just looks at him like he's nuts though

13. My dog taught a kid friend and our cat to fetch
I throw, he sends the cat or the kid out, they bring the item to him, he brings it to me.

He's a retriever, but an executive one ;)

14. Mine fetches a tennis ball if you throw it down the hall
He's the weirdest little thing...he'll also play soccer with anything that rolls across the floor, passing it back and forth between his feet as he dashes madly through the house. And then there's the random running, pell-mell, from end to end of the house repeatedly, ears back and tearing carpet as he goes.

I love kitties. They are freaks. :)

My daughter says if one of her kids throws the paper ball the cat will fetch it but will only give it to my daughter...LOL
