"If you bake a lot like I don't" - another Rachael Ray line

And yes, that is precisely what she meant - she was saying how little she bakes, and isn't a great baker, while she's doing something involving baking, and was saying that those who bake a lot will do this thing easier.

6. yeah I was watching her last night when she was doing this ice cream

thing and her confession of "I do lots of sundaes cuz I really can't bake"

I made my fool proof peach betty/cobbler tonight

1 stick butter
1 cup milk
1 cup Bisquick
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla or almond extract (optional)
1 can sliced peaches in heavy syrup

cut up the butter into quarters and toss in a 13x9 pan, stick it in the oven and set heat at 325 degrees (to melt while you do the other stuff)

mix sugar, Bisquick, milk and vanilla throughly (batter will be thin) Drain peaches reserving 1/2 of the syrup (approximately 1/4 cup)

pour batter over melted butter (don't mix it but don't worry if the batter kinda sinks under the butter on the edges) Arrange peaches in the pan on top of butter (just pour them out of the can with the syrup and move the slices around so they are even, let the syrup go whever it wants to)

Optional-- Sprinkle cinnamon or a cinnamon/sugar mixture on top

Bake at 325 for 45 minutes until the center is solid and the top & edges are golden brown.

best served with whipped topping or ice cream

We've had the food network since the get-go, so my hatred has had longer to foment than yours. :)
