Job advice needed
Here's the deal. I had an interview today that went real well. In fact, they loved my stuff (I'm in advertising). They'd hire me in a heartbeat but here's the problem. They can only pay me about 1/2 of what I was making before. And I've been out tof work for 9 months. So, do I take the job and keep looking? Or do I keep sending out resumes and hold out for a job that pays me what I'm worth?

1. Take it.
You can still keep sending out resumes for a better job, but when you're unemployed anything in your area of interest and education is better than nothing.

3. I have no idea. Right off the bat, I'd say that if I was starving, I
would take the tuna sandwich and not hold out for the fillet mignon - but I do understand your situation.

5. Take it...
Better to have a job that pays less.

The longer you're out of work, the less attractive you'll be to other potential employers.

My fiancee has been out of work for 4 years, and she's pretty much completely out of luck. No one will touch her.

7. take it.
you still get to search, you make money, you get to prove your stuff with the chance at greater prospects there. if you find something else than you can ask them to make a counter-offer.
