16. Thanks for bringing back memories of junior high...
During 7th grade, just before the Academy Awards, our English class was taken on a field trip to see Oliver! (I guess because we had been studying a completely different Dickens novel in class. ) At any rate, the "class clown" decided to announce loudly, midway through the film, that the admittedly-developed lead female actress "should win the Golden Globes."

Of course, since that got a big laugh, that meant he had to repeat it several times on the bus ride home...

...and in class the next day...

...and for several weeks thereafter. :eyes:

Thank you so much for making me remember that delightful time in my life. :grr:

5. OMG!
My wife and I were very taken with Scarlett Johansson last night. We talked about her all night. She is very quickly taking over as my celeb crush.

As for that dress, nothing I can say can do it justice.

13. Did you see the interviewer "feel her up?"
One of the interviewers, I think it was on E!, commented on her boobs and copped a feel on TV. After the feel they went to the main guy covering it (The Seacrest out guy I think) and he and his female co-host claimed the interviewer only got away with it because he was gay. It was so funny and Scarlet did not even react/seem offended that some guy was feeling her up.

14. Isaac Mizrahi
Mizrahi deserves his own Golden Globe

http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/tv/255954_goldenpop.html?source=mypi

It has to be said: Isaac Mizrahi is by far the best red carpet host ever -- or, at the very least, in a very long time. Ryan Seacrest's much-ballyhooed red-carpet debut was fine, but Mizrahi was the real reason to keep watching.

The affable fashion designer has the Midas touch with celebs. He's kind, yet saucy. And, he has that gay best-friend ease about him, plus, he has that fashionista thing going for him, which is why he can get away with looking down Teri Hatcher's dress, touching her belly and going through her purse (he just grabbed it, handed Hatcher his microphone and rifled through the small clutch). Then he asked Eva Longoria about how she waxes her hoo-ha (Brazilian? Au naturel?) and worried what the purseless (and hence, condomless) Natalie Portman would do if she wanted to hook up with someone. Yup, the man was on a tear, and he got away with it. This is the show, after all, where Jack Nicholson once famously mooned the crowd, so the rules are different.
