League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (just got back)

i know i know.

it was widely panned here on DU but we took my stepson to see it.

i was expecting an X-Men type movie and that's just what we got. the kids loved the action and we "adults" (i'll just use that term loosely for only this thread :P ) appreciated the humor and the neuonces aimed at classic literature.

all in all we enjoyed it (Mrs Matcom would rape Connery if she could ever get her hands on him) :D

pretty fun movie IMHO
