. . . that when Kennedy sent him on that tour around the world, Lyndon had the stuff delivered to his locations by the cases, and drank around two Fifths a day.

It was around the same time that I also read that Churchill had a bottle of Sherry with breakfast, Scotch and sodas with lunch, and then Katy-Bar-The-Door for his evening indulgences before he slept until noon the next day.

But before that, while pursuing my history degree, I learned that the majority of our founding fathers started their day with one or two BIG glasses of ale.

It was then when I realized that I should drink some Scotch every day, just for good luck.
