I really seriously believe I'm going to have to kill my neighbors
The fucking bastard yells all the time and opens and closes the sliding glass door every fucking 10 minutes when he's drunk and smoking cigarettes. The other day he had the WHAT? to ask me to turn my music down, "I'm watching television" that was at about 6:00 at night. It's now 11 and the fucking ignorant bastard is running around drunk opening the door all the shit he usually does.

Hey DU, do I have your permission to kill him?

3. We actually moved
when our neighbors allowed their kids and friends to use skate board ramps for two years in our cul-de-sac. Middle schooled aged too, and they smoked and cussed worse than your neigbor, I bet :)

Move, killing him is not worth your time in jail/and/or/death row.

5. Your new neighbors would be worse. Noise cancelling headphones
might be more rational. Although, sometimes you just have to say "What the fuck."

8. No.
Just be patient, wait until he breaks a law, and call the police.

Peace,

Floo

14. Kill mine first! Please!
They have traffic seems like all day, brrrrrruuuuummmm, brrrrrruuuuummmmm, brrrrruuuummmm, big heavy diesel frickin' trucks that vibrate my floor at a very low deep level and the sensation crawls up my spine, kind of like scratching fingernails on a blackboard sensation.

And the door-slamming that goes on with those vehicles. Slam! Slam! Slam! Slam! Slam! Like, what, can't you shut the damn thing once?

Parked in their driveway, idling for 10 minutes at a time, brrrrruuuuummmmm, with their car stereo going full-blast and their damned door open, with their home stereo going full blast, too, as they stand on their doorstep and yak yak yak.

I finally had to buy Homasote soundboard and cut it to fit the bedroom windows so I could get some sleep at night. They are renters and I'm hoping they move because they have completely ruined what was once my favorite time of year ... for 15 years I looked forward to winter, with its peace and quiet. It's the only thing that's kept me here this long, and now I don't have that anymore.

BTW, noise cancellation headphones are an inadequate defense against noisy neighbors and after a while it feels like your head is in a fog.
