How are you going to celebrate Friday the 13th?
Edited on Thu Jan-12-06 06:02 PM by swag
I think I'll try to talk the old lady into going to Happy Hour at Bernie's for some fried green tomatoes, crawfish cakes, and a couple drinks.

Edited on Thu Jan-12-06 07:38 PM by asthmaticeog
In my 'hood alone, galleries are showing photo exhibits by Bryon Miller and Rose Marincil, paintings by Jay Croft, Brett Holzworth & Eric Skaggs, assemblage by Dana Depew, and some kind of fucked-up shit from Brin Metzendorf, who is a total goddamn freak. It's some of the best art that the Great Lakes region has to offer, and every gallery will gladly load me up on cheap hangover wine while I make my way towards the final destination, performances of outmusic from Field Guide to Plants & Animals, Beaten Awake and Gabe Schray at Inside/Outside Gallery. Avantlicious.

76. I know. Just look at this wild hog infestation map:

How the hell did they get clear up to Minot?

They're like fucking pigs at the trough, I'm tellin' ya. Only without the trough.

78. I'm gonna keep my head down...
I'm not really that superstitious, but I've been having some strange bad luck the last few years.

I'll probably leave the house sometime today, but only if I get the job interview I'm hoping for today.

79. Well, apparently by overdrawing my checking account.
What a pleasant surprise appropriate to the day.

The evening's planned activities comprise staying in for home-cooked fusilli with prosciuto and a good Italian red!

I hope y'all enjoy your Happy Hour. :hi:

but your evening sounds nice. I'm sure that Italian red will wash the pain away.

I believe that show is only the interviews and album tracks, which they record on Sunday evenings.

95. I just had my wisdom tooth taken out. . .
Edited on Fri Jan-13-06 12:35 PM by DinahMoeHum
that odious-but-necessary rite of passage. Thankfully, my case was very simple.

I had planned for this in advance; after I had my regular check-up including X-rays in December, my dentist told me it was time for it to go. I just wanted to wait until the holidays were over, and I
decided that the Friday before the King holiday was the time for it. Planty of time to recover.

107. Ouch! Brings back memories of when I was 19. Had all four removed
two at a time. I kissed the oral surgeon after the operations; he later invited me to dinner. I can't remember the rest.

Sodium brevitol was used. I didn't remember anything.

What about your other three wisdom teeth? Are they still in place?

96. Well it started off bad enough...
I went out last night with some friends (nobody was drinking thank God!) and we got into a minor fender bender. I wasn't driving and nobody was hurt but the people in the other car weren't very cooperative and told the cops that we were drunk thankfully the cops took our sides! But still a crappy way to start the 13th!

Edited on Fri Jan-13-06 10:44 PM by Radio_Lady
Cool place near a beautiful duck pond on Murray Boulevard.

They were AMAZINGLY busy at 5:30 PM PST.

No pictures, just reviews and a map.

Delicious food in a fun atmosphere. They also have a location in Vancouver, Washington.
