Link often wakes me up in the middle of the night, jumping up on me and purring. I'll reach to pet, and suddenly realize his stinky asshole is about 6 inches from my face. So I push him away in disgust, and he runs away offended. After all, I should be honored that he stuck his butt in my face, right?

Or it could be New Mexico, or southwestern Colorado.

My folks dragged my sister and I to all those national monuments when we were kids. Gotta admit, though, Zion and Bryce Canyon in Utah were pretty spectacular. Ma Nature on a real good day.

83. Now cliff dwellings I would *love* to see
I have read Jean M. Auel's Earth's Children series several times and longed to see the types of caves and cliff shelters she describes in those novels. I doubt I will ever have the money to travel to Europe to see the ones she saw while doing her research, but there is the possibility that I could eventually see similar ones in the Southwest.

73. You know what's funny? We never felt isolated while living there.
The island was almost all military and there was so much to do for kids. We knew we lived in the middle of the Aleutian Islands but since we were all Navy brats, we were used to living in "exotic" locations.

I belong to a discussion forum with people who were kids there -- about 80% say that it was their favorite place to live. We moved there after four years on Guam so that would be a tough call. It was fun, though.

111. Yep, a sheltie
He was my sister's dog and she showed him until he was 7 or so. After that, I got to be his retirement home. He didn't quite make it to 13 years old. He died of a mass in his lungs just before his birthday.

I adored him and hope to get another someday.

:hi:

I also need to learn how to type "that" properly.
