Deist games is pleased to announce
the release of the Future Nexus Core book.

Characteristics of the Core Rule Book

*
Fast, flexible character creation rules. You can use skill packages only, a skill list or a combination of the two
*
Fast combat system that incorporates any level of play you want to do, from the cinematic to the hyper-gritty.
*
An easy to follow construction system that will allow you, as it stands right now, to build anything from a wheelchair, yes we did it, to a system defense network.
*
A tactical combat system, so if your choice is to push lead, you have the rules
*
Lots and I mean LOTS of fluff. Three systems have even been detailed quite a bit. When all was said and done, I believe one third of the book IS fluff.

This is a Paper and Pencil D12 engine, and I am sure some will like it just for the fluff.

Anyway here are the options on how to get it.

Print (POD at Lulu.com) they do a fantastic job of binding and all that... the link is at my site
PDF (at RPGEdge.com again the link is at the site)
Print in person at San Diego Retailers. The book is already available at Game Towne, and once I get the next micro print run hopefully at Game Empire, two of our local retailers.

Right now I am looking at getting this into the distributor chain.

Oh and Barnes and Noble, you just have to go and give them the ISBN and they will place the order at Lulu for you... the process will be fairly transparent to you.

And yes, you might be able to identify who and what exactly were the inspiration for most of this.

Oh and future product, as I take a break from editing, the first novel should be ready to go to print in two weeks... and the first source book by the end of the quarter. We might be a small start up... but we intend to stay 'round for a long time.

Oh and did I mention that you don't have to buy if you want to try before you buy, you can download the LITE version of the book that will allow you to test the engine. It does not have some major items such as he tactical rules, the fluff, and the construction system... but there is enough fluff there for you to play with and see if you like the system.

5. You had me at "wheelchair"! I'm gonna check it out.
But, I have to ask:
can 2 players team up and build a baby-carriage?

8. Not only will they arm it, they will make 20 movies about it!
Oh, wait; too late. It's been done!

NOTHING catches the Evil Shogun's assassins by surprise
like a baby-carriage full of hidden blades,
occupied by a toddler who knows how to use them!
