THANK YOU ALL AGAIN!
I hardly ever shout in the Lounge. Please forgive me.

The recent thread about miscarriage got me thinking about the baby I lost because of the car accident. I searched for my mom's thread about it in the Lounge and was reading all your wonderful, kind thoughts.

When I was in the hospital, my mom would print out Lounge posts and bring them to me. Then when she went back home to Florida, she'd read your posts to me over the phone.

I am blessed with wonderful friends and family, and I had many people there for me during that time.

But there's just something so special about all of you. I don't know if you'll ever understand how much you helped me.

So thank you again.

Much Love,

Rene

1. I am not sure I was around for that, but hey, I love this place
A kinder group of people (albeit irreverent and sometimes naughty), I am hard pressed to find!

2. So much has happened since then.

Nostamj and Kheph are in that thread. We so sadly lost them. Lots of folks have had their own babies since posting in that thread.

I have my wonderful son.

People have gotten married, people have gotten divorced.

We've been through so much together. It's amazing!

EDIT: typo

3. Sorry I missed that
But I know exactly why... I had no internet for nearly 2 weeks during my transition from Seattle to AZ. I left Seattle on the 30th, in fact.

I am so sorry... but please know I always had your back. :loveya:

(I see nini was first!)

4. I do know that!
You are my true friend and I am yours.

Zomby loves me!

:toast:

Notice how Kheph didn't say anything but just kept kicking it. He called me weeks later to say he just didn't know what to say. But Iknew he was there.

:loveya:

I'm still amazed how much has happened since then.

6. Everything comes with gifts.
That's one of the biggest things I learned.

But I hope I can learn future lessons through love and abundance, instead of pain and loss.

7. DU are good people!
I remember we had a martini soon after that... and some oysters on the half shell, if memory serves.

A wonderful afternoon!

And one always wonders, what would that child have been like?

9. I was still walking with a cane then!
I do wonder what that child would have been like. But I wouldn't trade my son for anything, and he was conceived before the other baby's due date.

Anyway, that was a very nice afternoon. Hope to see you again sometime.

8. I remember when that happened.
I wasn't online much then, but Laz told me when it happened. I was pregnant at the time after two miscarriages. I'm sorry I missed that thread, but you were in my thoughts. So much has happened since then, and we both have our beautiful little ones, now.

10. I can't believe all that's happened.
I'm so glad we both have our little ones. Do you have a recent picture?

11. Awe...
I'd like to reply to every support post (and I do to most of them in the Lounge)
But, sometimes it gets to be too much for me.

I *do* read every one of them!

I'm glad you're okay now.

:)
